Our Basque Cheesecakes started as a little home experiment — something we baked just for ourselves, never intending to sell. But they quickly became one of our favorite desserts (and the star of every house party), so we knew we had to share them with you.
Each Basque Cheesecake is baked until beautifully caramelized — burnt on the top, sides, and bottom for that signature flavor, while staying unbelievably soft and creamy inside. It’s one of our personal favorites, and we hope it becomes one of yours too.
