The Dream Team

CHRISTIAN GUEVARA (TWIN #1)
Charisma, uniqueness and talented. Duh…
1. If you were a sweet treat, what would you be and why?
I would be a Lemon Meringue Cream Puff because it has the perfect combination of sweet and sour, just like me (more sour than sweet).
2. What led you to open dbakers?
I am very close to my twin brother, Giancarlo. We were both working crazy schedules in different towns, and we didn’t get to see each other at all. Plus, I got tired of not being able to be creative in my previous pastry jobs. Because of these two things, I decided to open dbakers.
3. What got you into the world of baking?
I have always been super creative. It started naturally and realized I could create incredible things and eat them too, the perfect combination! At first, when I was 10, I was obsessed with cupcakes. I would make so many of them that my mom would make me sell them to our neighbors.
4. What do you envision dbakers to be in the future?
I envision dbakers as the place where birthday cakes come; just like how the storks bring the babies. Also, I envision dbakers being a multimillion-dollar company hahaha no seriously, a fortune 500 company!

GIANCARLO GUEVARA (TWIN #2)
Intense, fast and annoying
1. If you were a sweet treat, what would you be and why?
I would be a Macaron, as a lot of people think they don’t like them until they get to know them!
2. What led you to open dbakers?
My brother and I worked together at a wholesale French bakery. Sadly, we felt unappreciated and the hours where insane. So we quit and went our separate ways, but, after a year of barely seeing each other, we knew we needed to work together, and this led us to open dbakers.
3. What got you into the world of baking?
First, the need to move from Venezuela and secondly, my need to create sweet treats that make people happy. Growing up, I would see how every celebration was around cakes and desserts and I knew that I would focus my life on celebrating and creating happy moments for other people.
4. What do you envision dbakers to be in the future?
My dream is to open dbakers stores around the world, creating a fun and creative job environment. In addition and most importantly, I want to make people fappy (fat and happy) all around the globe.
