Please allow up to 24 hours for a response. We cannot reply to emails immediately, as we receive multiples requests each day. We do our best to manage them all, so we kindly ask for your patience.

Before we dive into custom designs, please take a look at the cakes we already have online:

• Designer Cakes – our “set custom” cakes, created because customers loved and requested them so often. For most Designer Cakes, we can change colors or small details, and you can even make those adjustments directly on our website when you place your order.  ➡️ Shop Designer Cakes

You might find something you love just as they are, or maybe see a cake that we can modify a little to better fit your idea.

If you did not find anything you love, please note we need at least 2 weeks’ notice to create a custom cake. This gives us time to design it and prepare everything. If you contact us 2 weeks or more in advance, we can help make something special just for you!

 

✅ What We Do

• All our cakes are made with Swiss meringue buttercream (not fondant)

• We do 2D decorations (flat edible designs)

• We use edible gum paste or printed toppers for decorations

 

🚫 What We Don’t Do

• Shaped cakes (like cars, animals, or objects)

• Fondant-covered cakes

• Sugar Flower

• Cookie Cakes

• 3D Design Work

 

📝 Steps to Order

1. Pick your cake size & flavor: Check our Cake Sizes & Flavors page.

2. Tell us what you need: Write to us in the chat below or email us at sales@dbakers.us with:

   • The date and time you need the cake for

   • Pick-up location or Delivery

   • The size and flavor

   • Any pictures or ideas (optional, but helpful!)

   • A phone number to contact you

     
     

3. Get your quote: We’ll let you know if we can make it and give you a price.

 

💵 About Prices

Custom cakes cost more when the design is intricate and takes more time. Some designs may cost more than the cakes you see online. 

The cakes listed on our website are ones our team already knows how to make, and we have everything prepared for them.

Custom cakes are different, most of the time we need to create new decorations and design the cake from scratch. This process takes extra time, planning, and work. Please keep that in mind when placing a custom order.

If you don’t have 2 weeks we will do the very best to help out with the available options! We can often make small changes to the cakes we already have online or help with something simpler that’s doable with the time we have. Just let us know, and we’ll try our best to help.
